Mansory Rolls-Royce Ghost Goes Darth Maul With Sinister Spec

Tuning /6 Comments

It still has some questionable design choices though.

Mansory can't go a week without releasing something new, so here's a sinister-lookingRolls-Royce Ghostthat looks like Darth Maul's company car. Officially dubbed a 'softkit,' it's not quite as extreme as the brand'sLamborghini Urus Coupeor outlandishtake on the Bugatti Chiron.

As a softkit build, the Ghost was given less drastic changes. The front of the graceful car was given a more aggressive expression via sharp angles and larger vents. The front fascia also has an understated red and black theme, giving it a sinister, somewhat diabolical look.

Its profile also retains much of the sleekness of the original car. That said, the red-tinged coachline cutting through the doors and the side skirt adds more character, plus the aero disc-type 19-inch FD.15 wheels also enhance the vehicle's smooth look.

We don't hate the final design. There are, however, some caveats that might irk some car enthusiasts. For instance, a classy car like this might not need the brusqueness of the unpainted and exposedcarbon fiberbits on its face. There's also the fact that the company painted theSpirit Of Ecstasyhood ornament in red - not a big deal to some, but sacrilege for others.

Also added was a carbon fiber roof spoiler mounted just above the rear window and a trunk lid spoiler. Two spoilers on one vehicle sound a bit too much. Otherwise, the diffuser and the rear bumper look understated, but again, these could've used a gloss black paint job.

To tie up the entire look of the vehicle, Mansory lowered it to the ground by a few inches. Its interior was likewise turned up with bright red leather, contrasting the silent but strong demeanor of the vehicle's exterior.

So, did Mansory drop the ball on this one and ruin a good Rolls-Royce Ghost, or did they do a good job?
