One of the world's best Aston Martin dealerships commissioned the vehicles from Q by Aston Martin.

Aston Martin Newport Beach has unveiled an exclusive Tweed Collection for theDBS Coupeand DBS Volante models. This exclusive collection comprises bespoke versions of the V12-powered duo, with custom tweed upholstery on the center console, door panels, and seats.

Commissioned through Q by Aston Martin, these exclusive vehicles boast several unique touches that blend old-world charm with modern styling, technology, and performance. Before we get to the main attraction of these Astons, let's explore the exterior of the DBS Tweed Collection twins.

The bodies have been sprayed Newport Green, a bespoke shade created exclusively for the dealership. The paintwork has been paired with Satin Black diamond-turned wheels. The seats are trimmed in a combination of tan leather and tweed, with the bolsters, armrests, door cards, and dashboard finished in supple hide.

Where you'd typically find wood trim or carbon fiber, Q by Aston Martin has replaced the traditional inlays with more tweed.

It won't be to everyone's tastes, but this traditional interior combination is distinctive and proves that leather might not be the classiest finish of all.

If you're interested in getting your hands on these bespoke DBS models, you had better act fast - Aston Martin Newport Beach has commissioned just two examples (one Volante, one Coupe), and they carry massive price tags.

Per the dealer's website, the Coupe is priced at $434,691, and the Volante is $456,891. They probably won't be sitting on the showroom floor for long, as Aston Martin Newport Beach notes the "collection's playful twist on the classic green over tan colorway has captivated enthusiasts and collectors."

This isn't the first time we've seen tweed used in the automotive arena.Bentley has used the woolen fabricin custom interiors and even offers it as a roof fabric for the Continental GTC.

The DBS isn't long for this world. To say goodbye to the range-topping grand tourer, the automaker introducedthe final edition DBS 770, limited to just 499 examples. 300 will be produced as coupes, while the Volante will be limited to 199 units. The 5.2-liter V12 produces 759 horsepower, allowing it to hit 60 mph in as little as 3.2 seconds before topping out at 211 mph.

With the new DB12 on the scene, we anticipate the arrival of a new generation DBS very shortly. Just don't expect a V12; the new Valour will be the automaker's final carequipped with a twelve-pot motor.
