The perfect SEMA concoction: Concepts, race cars, and accessories.

Acura is celebrating a successful season of racing by bringing two generations of championship-winning NSX race cars to SEMA 2019. Alongside the championship-winning Acura NSX GT3 Evo, Acura has also wheeled theRealTime RacingChampionship-Winning First-Generation NSX out of the California collection hall in Torrance, California. Just in case you fancy picking up an NSX GT3 Evo, Acura has let us know you can buy one for $525,000.

Joining the race cars on display is a newAcura NSXin the latest Indy Yellow Pearl paint that pays homage to Spa Yellow, one of two yellow colors that was available on the first-generation NSX.

The highlight from Acura's SEMA cars this year for those into their crossovers is a2020 RDX A-Specthat Acura is displaying. It's fitted with a host of Acura Genuine Accessories and a new line of Concept A-Spec accessories developed by its US-based engineering and accessory design teams. The Acura Genuine Accessories include roof rails, crossbars, 20-inch black diamond-cut wheels, the black chrome emblem set, illuminated A-Spec door sill trim, A-Spec carpet floor mats, and carbon-wrapped tailgate accent. Also added is a Thule mid-size roof box and A-Spec Accessories concept graphics.

The Concept A-Spec Accessories are more interesting and include a CFRP lower front facia, lower side sill, rear diffuser, lower door "blade," and side mirror caps. Topping the CFRP pieces is a carbon-fiber grille surround and dark chrome A-Spec emblems and rear Acura badge.

The Type S concept will also be on display, heralding the return of Acura road cars to performance roots, and previewingthe design language for the TLX Type S sedan when it returns. Acura is promising to debut two all-new Type S models in the next two years. We've been disappointed with Acura's road cars for a while, and, hopefully, this will be the start of a true return to form.
