Unlike the standard Lexus LC Coupe, the hybrid switches out the acclaimed naturally-aspirated V8 engine for a 3.5-liter six-cylinder hybrid setup. It makes 354 hp for the rear wheels, directed by an electronically controlled variable transmission and four-speed automatic pairing. This is enough to get it to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 155 mph.
As standard, the Lexus LC Hybrid comes with 20-inch staggered-width wheels filling the arches, triple-beam LED headlights, and LED taillights. The spindle grille up front is recognizable from a mile away, and a glass roof is standard. Stepping into the cabin shows off 2+2 seats covered in premium leather with heating and ventilation up front. A 10.3-inch multimedia display is standard and can connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Amazon Alexa.
Safety features are generous, with standard blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert at the rear, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection and automatic braking.

The priciest upgrade comes via the $6,850 Dynamic Handling Package. This makes the LC 500h more capable through the twisties thanks to active rear steering, variable gear-ratio steering, a speed-activated rear wing, and a Torsen limited-slip rear differential. It also includes Alcantara trim in the cabin and a carbon fiber roof. If you want more carbon fiber, you can get a rear lip spoiler ($1,200) or a lower grille insert ($1,200) added separately and fashioned from the lightweight material. A head-up display costs $900.
Available via the Bespoke Build configurator is the 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system on its own for $1,220.
