2023 Niro EV Safety

At the time of writing, there are no official safety ratings for the Kia Niro EV, and not even the gas-powered model has been rated. We can draw some conclusions from the last generation even though the new model is all-new. For 2022, it received a five-star rating from the NHTSA and a score of Good in every crash test from the IIHS. The automaker is likely to want to improve on these ratings.

2023 Niro EV Reliability

The reliability of the Kia Niro EV has not yet been established from consumer surveys, but based on Kia's history, we can rest assured that the Niro will likely never let you down. Luckily, the Korean automaker offers one of the best warranty plans in the industry, covering five years/60,000 miles of limited concerns, while the powertrain gets ten years/100,000 miles of coverage.
