2020 QX60 Interior

Step inside the cabin of the 2020 QX60, and you'll be struck by its plush and premium look and feel, even though the overall design might look a bit muted. Infiniti has gone out of its way to make the QX60 feel as luxurious as some of the more expensive German offerings but just falls short of its intended target. In base form, the QX60 offers 3 rows of seats and a long list of interior features that help make up for its relatively high asking price. Some of the features worth mentioning are a tri-zone automatic temperature control system, heated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and a multi-mode second-row seat for easy 3rd-row entry and exit. Some tech features on the base model include rear door alert, intelligent keyless entry with push-button start, voice recognition, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink universal transceiver. Luxe trim cars get a heated steering wheel, two-way power lumbar support for the driver's seat, dual occupant memory for the driver, and remote engine start. Active driver assistance features include forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, predictive forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring.

Seating and Interior Space

This mid-size SUV offers a good amount of interior space, especially for first and second-row passengers, but as with most in this class, third-row occupants will find their space a bit cramped, and only small adults and children should be accommodated here. Once inside, the 7-seater will comfortably accommodate five adult passengers in the first two rows, while two smaller humans will be able to squeeze in the third row. Headroom in front is a respectable 40.7 inches. In the second row, headroom comes in at 38.2 inches without the panoramic moonroof and 37.3 inches with it. Third-row headroom is a tighter 36.5 inches, or 35 with the moonroof included. Compared to some of its rivals, the QX60 offers a good amount of legroom, with front passengers getting 42.2 inches, compared to the 41.7 available in the Audi Q7, and 41.4 in the Acura MDX. Legroom for second-row passengers is an equally impressive 41.7 inches, shrinking to 30.8 for those in the third row.

Interior Colors and Materials

While most certainly a premium effort, the QX60 can't match some of its more established rivals in terms of interior material quality. The center console's cheap plastics let down an otherwise admirable effort. Base model cars are equipped with leatherette-appointed seating, which is available in either Wheat or Graphite. Luxe models get first and second-row leather upholstery in your choice of Wheat, Java, or Graphite. The base model also features Graphite weave interior trim accents, while Maple wood accents are also on offer. The rest of the interior on both trim levels is covered in black hard and soft-touch plastics, as well as a brushed aluminum finish. If you're looking for a more refined space, check out the peerless Audi Q7.

2020 QX60 Trunk and Cargo Space

Trunk and cargo space in the 2020 Infiniti QX60 is competitive, but not class-leading. Behind the third-row seats, the QX60 offers 15.9 cubic feet of space with the moonroof in place, and 16 cubic feet without. The second-row seats feature an easy-access system to the third row, which works well, and with the 50/50-split-folding third-row seat folded down, the total cargo space opens up to 40.5 cubic feet without the panoramic roof installed. That's around three cubic feet less than you get in the Acura, but over five more than the Audi. If you need all the space on offer, fold down the second-row seats, and you'll be welcomed by 76.2 cubic feet of space. That's enough space to fit all your dogs. Passengers will find two cupholders in the front, as well as a decently sized glovebox and center console storage bin. Those in the second row get door pockets, but those in the third will have to keep their belongings on their laps.

2020 QX60 Infotainment and Features

Features

The features list on the QX60, even in base spec, is pretty impressive: the exterior of the base model gets standard LED signature headlights and front fog lights, LED signature taillights and center high-mounted brake light, as well as power folding, heated outside mirrors with integrated

把信号和电源滑动/有色玻璃牛叫声nroof and sliding sunshade. Keyless access, front door courtesy lights, rear privacy glass, and a power liftgate are also included. Step inside the cab of the 2020 QX60 and you are treated to a standard eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, tri-zone climate control and an auto-dimming inside mirror with HomeLink universal

Active driver assistance features include forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, and rear door alert.

Infotainment

Both the base and Luxe trim level gets an eight-inch touchscreen display which is responsive and intuitive enough, but the menu design looks dated when compared to its contemporaries. Both trim levels also get six USB charging ports located throughout the car, as well as a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio, and SiriusXM Travel Link. You also get Bluetooth streaming with a hands-free phone calling service. Luxe models add a premium Bose sound system with 13 speakers and an enhanced intelligent key system that will remember audio and navigation settings since the last time of use. Optional infotainment features include a theatre package that adds dual eight-inch color monitors for multimedia video playback, two wireless headphones, and a wireless remote control. The optional Sensory package adds an even more advanced Bose Centerpoint surround sound system with 15 speakers and driver's audio stage.
