The 2022 Ford F-450 is an immensely capable towing and hauling vehicle with one of the most powerful engines in the segment. That engine is none other than the 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 that generates 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, it allows the F-450 to tow up to 37,000 lbs and haul 6,210 lbs. All models use a ten-speed automatic transmission.

The F-450 is equipped with a dual rear-wheel configuration and rear-wheel drive as standard, but four-wheel-drive is available on every version. The Platinum and Limited get 4WD by default. A standard eight-foot bed, the only size of bed available, is equipped to either Regular or Crew Cab models.
