Can you tell we already love this legendary 4x4?

We've alwaysbeen huge fans of the one and only Jeep Wrangler. From its timeless exterior design to its tried and tested off-roading capabilities, the Wrangler is really an all-American tradition that dates back to World War II.Built in Toledo, Ohio, the Wrangler still remains one of Fiat-Chrysler's best-sellers. In fact, the automaker can't build them fast enough to satisfy global demand. So we were really excited whenwe had the chance to unboxthis 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock Edition.

It literally has everything you could ever need to outrun zombies when the inevitable zombie apocalypse arrives. With its standard 3.6-liter V6 producing a total of 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, buyers can opt for either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic. This Jeep, however is equipped with the latter gearbox. Honestly, we prefer to row our own gears. With off-roading features such as heavy duty front and rear axles, rear stabilizer bar, transfer case skit plate, and Jeep's very own 'Trail Rated' kit, this four-door Wrangler wasn't meant for regular pavement. We also especially like its hard top, which is actually a three-piece unit that even comes with its own storage bag.

Honestly, there's really only one thing we didn't like about this Wrangler Unlimited: the price. This Hard Rock Edition is top-of-the-line, coming to a grand total of $48,110. Is it worth it? Check out our latest unboxing video to find out. Special thanks toNormandin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in San Jose, California, for letting us shoot its Wrangler.
