This Will Infuriate Tesla And Prius Owners

Unfortunately, this has not been deployed nationwide and some combustion-engined vehicle owners continue to provoke. Case in point: the owner of this jacked-upRam 1500. The above image was shared on Twitter by TheTeslaLife and it shows a charging cable "connected" to the truck's tailpipe. The owner managed to push nearly the entire cable inside the dirty pipe. Perhaps what's most controversial is what's written on the tailgate: "I Identify As A Prius."

The owner is obviously referring to the Toyota Prius, a hybrid or plug-in hybrid vehicle that utilizes a combustion engine. Clearly he didn't do his homework and the joke is somewhat on him; no Toyota model is compatible with Tesla Superchargers. Only Teslas are. He really ought to consider changing the wording before his next so-called parking job.

The Twitter post didn't specifically indicate where this photo was taken although the Oregon Electric Vehicle Association (OEVA) tagged it in its own tweet. Hopefully, this incident will be laughed off by everyone. There's no need for tempers to flare over something so insignificant. This truck owner should be made aware (if not already) that all three Detroit automakers will soon launch all-electric full-size pickup trucks.

The Ford F-150 EV isdue next yearand GM and Ram aren't too far behind. Maybe in just a few years' time, this guy will find joy in a new truck with instant torque at all four wheels and extraordinary towing, off-roading, and acceleration capabilities. Elon Musk might even sell him a Cybertruck.
