This is the real deal.

ThePorsche Cayenneis currently getting ready for aserious refreshthat will make it look better and probably even more refined. This is a car that is able to go off-road, but no one in their right mind would ever really attempt this, or would they? Porsche has an impressive history of off-roading its cars, and even thePorsche 911has seen its fair share of rally racing. The Cayenne then is the perfect candidate for ahardcore off-road conversion. If you like the sound of this, but you're not too keen to fork out thousands on a conversion, then we have the perfect solution: this 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo listed on Bring a Trailer that has been modified to tackle the great outdoors.

This special Cayenne is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.5-liter V8 producing 450 horsepower and 560 lb-ft. Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission and an optional locking rear differential. The exterior features a three-inch lift, LED roof lights, a rear tire carrier, a power-operated sunroof, and a rear spoiler from a later-model Cayenne. It also boasts off-road parts such as aluminum rock sliders, a reinforced fuel tank plate, and an aftermarket swing-out rear tire carrier, and two jerry cans. To give the car more articulation when going off-road, the truck is equipped with remote-disconnect sway bars. The air suspension seals and upper strut mounts were also recently replaced.
