Zenvo is going to reveal the new Aurora hypercar this week at Pebble Beach in Monterey, and we now have our first look at the car courtesy of photographer GF Williams, who was tasked with capturing the press pack images of the Aurora in a fitting place - against the backdrop of aurora borealis, more commonly known as the northern lights. Williams posted the first teaser of the hypercar to his social media, revealing extreme aerodynamics relying on negative spaces through the wheel wells and motorsport-inspired pull rod suspension akin to what you might see on theAston Martin Valkyrie. The carbon fiber front end even shows a multi-plane front wing that definitely looks like it belongs on a contemporary Formula 1 car.

From the initial image, we can spot the judicious use of carbon fiber, which makes sense since the令人难以置信的僵硬的底盘will be built from the stuff, and the bodywork will follow suit, reducing the weight of the exclusive automobile. The prominent aerodynamics, in addition to the gaping bodywork between the main body and the wheel, comprise a large front splitter and the multi-tiered front wing.

A central windshield wiper, LED lighting, and a hint of a traditional wing mirror are also visible.

Additionally, we can see a gaping mesh grille, likely for cooling, as the engine in the Zenvo Aurora will be mounted behind the cockpit. And what an engine it's going to be.

Titled 'Mjolner,' after Thor's hammer, the 6.6-literquad-turbo V12 engineruns onsynthetic fuel, spins up to 9,800 rpm - placing it in contention for thehighest-revving road carsof all time - and generates 1,250 horsepower. The motor was developed by powertrain expert Mahle, which additionally developed hybrid components that boost total outputs to 1,850 hp, all of which is deployed through a 4WD system likely using e-motors on the front axle and combustion at the rear.

The Aurora will be homologated for the USA and be available in two specifications, Agil and Tur, built for track driving and grand touring, respectively. The latter is even targeting a top speed of over 248 mph. Only 100 Auroras will be built, of which 30 are spoken for.

A full reveal will take place over the next few days, after which the Aurora will be on display for all to see.
