After a disappointing Q3 2023, the EV maker is looking to bounce back in the closing months.

It seems like price movement is the game Tesla wants to play to sell EVs to meet its 2023 target of producing 1.8 million vehicles worldwide. It has not been a couple of months, yet the EV maker has adjusted theModel 3and Model Y pricing again.

The base price of the Tesla Model 3 is now at $38,990 from $40,240. Meanwhile, the Long Range version had a price cut from $47,240 to $45,990. As for the top-spec Model 3 Performance variant, the all-electric sedan boasts a $2,250 price reduction to $50,990.

We also think Tesla continues to reduce the price to清理库存的整容ed Model 3. It is odd to see Tesla's own home market, the US, being late to the availability of the improved model. Markets such as Australia, Europe, and China are now getting the new Model 3.

Meanwhile, theTesla Model Yreceived a $2,000 price reduction that brings the price tag of the Long Range version down to $48,490. Thereturning single-motor variantlaunched a few days ago remains to be sold at $43,990. This should help bring more customers to the brand.

To note, the said MSRPs don't include destination charges and the $7,500 federal tax credit; the latter makes these Teslas even more attainable for prospective buyers.

According to industry watchers, Tesla keeps updating the price to sell as many units in the final quarter of this year. Unfortunately, the Q3 2023 didn't favor the indecisive pricing strategy as it reportedly fell short of expectations.

The strategy should be to introduce the facelifted Model 3 soon, which should appeal to the market with its sleeker look, along with a longer range and faster charging rate. TheTesla Cybertruckis also on its way to help the brand meet sales targets, withmass production slated to beginsometime in 2024.
