With 700 hp on tap, the top speed of the GTstreet R is claimed to be 217 mph.

TechArt recently introduced the all-new GTstreeR, based on thePorsche 911 Turboand Turbo S. The production run will be limited to just 87 cars.

TechArt claims its goal was to make the perfect car even better. That's quite the statement, considering many believe the 911 range is as close to perfect as any car has ever been before. TechArt has also applied its knowledge to theTaycan,Cayenne, andPanamera。它是如此good at making Porsches better, we even compiled alist of its greatest hits

To enhance the car, TechArt did three things: removed weight, increased downforce, and added more power.

The aerodynamic package is made of carbon fiber and was developed in a wind tunnel. TechArt claims the result is four times more downforce on the rear axle and 45% less lift on the front at 87 mph. The carbon fiber exterior additions include a hood that allows for more airflow, side skirts, and side fins.

At the rear, it has a carbon fiber wing, which is fed by another spoiler on the roof. The side inlets on the rear wing and the newly shaped carbon trunk lid supply the uprated engine with the necessary amount of fresh air.

Engine-wise, TechArt increases the power output of the Turbo S by 53 horsepower with the TA092/T1.1 tune for a total of 710 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The available TA092/T2.1 tune takes the power up to 800 hp and 701 lb-ft of torque.

To achieve this impressive power output, TechArt upgrades the turbochargers and optimizes the engine and gearbox software. The two-pipe, hand-welded sports exhaust system also helps. TechArt claims this exhaust system covers a wide range of acoustics between the open and closed settings. In other words, it's properly loud. The new top speed is claimed to be 217 mph.

In terms of ride and handling, two options are available. The sports spring set lowers the vehicle by an inch. The adjustable coil-over kit gives the owner a lowering range between 0.6 and one inch. TechArt is also developing another suspension system aimed specifically at racing.

The wheels of the GTstreet R are also made of carbon fiber. The result of these new wheels is a 1.2-inch increase in the front track. It has 265/35 ZR20 tires on the front axle and 325/30 ZR21 at the rear. Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires are recommended for the track and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires for daily use.

On the inside, there's a carbon fiber package, heritage fabrics, Alcantara, and leather. The leather perforation is in a checkered flag design, featured on the seats, side panels, and dashboard. It also has a contrasting number 87 on the seatbacks and a GTstreet R badge embroidered on the headrest.

The all-new steering wheel is made of leather and Alcantara. The hand rests are also perforated in the checkered flag design. All of the multifunction steering controls are retained, but TechArt says all individual buttons and controls can be customized to the owner's unique taste.
