Spied! 1,600-HP Bugatti Centodieci Edges Closer To Production

Cast your mind back to 2019, and you may remember when Bugatti unveiled the one-off La Voiture Noire at Geneva to celebrate the company's 110th anniversary. Valued at a staggering $18 million, the La Voiture Noire is a modern-day tribute to the iconic Type 57 SC Atlantic.Teaser images on social mediasuggest that Bugatti will present the final production version on May 31.

This isn't the only new Bugatti hypercar that will be unleashed soon, however. In 2019, Bugatti also presented theCentodieci, a limited-edition version of the Chiron with abespoke body inspired by the EB110.

As Bugattiapplies the finishing touchesand finetunes the chassis, our spies have spotted a working prototype of the Centodieci carving up the Nurburgring.

At the front, the Centodieci's smaller horseshoe grille, low-slung front spoiler, and horizontal slats on the bumper pay homage to the EB110, combined with ultra-slim LED headlights. Other design elements inspired by the EB110 include a wraparound windshield, a fixed rear wing, and five round side air vents. Like the La Voiture Noire, the Centodieci was also built to commemorate Bugatti's 110th anniversary - Centodieci is Italian for "110."
