Nevada isn't used to heavy rains, and neither are the state's inhabitants. So when severe storms caused the US 95 highway to overflow, people in the vicinity didn't hesitate to capture the action on video. Watch as the powerful current transforms the median into a muddy rapid, sucking an unfortunate few into the raging water and into the stream that formed below. According to eyewitnesses, an elderly lady was quickly pulled out of her Prius moments before it was swept away.
