Pininfarina Challenges Bugatti With Stunning New Watch

The Pininfarina Battista electric hyper GT is something special. With four electric motors and 1,877 horsepower, it's both more powerful and quicker than aBugatti Chiron. It'll get to 60 mph in under two seconds and carries a price tag of around $2.2 million.

The epic car marked its arrival on US soil in August with aCalifornia debut, and we already know it'll be one of themost customizable carsever. To cater to the discerning individual that will acquire one of these GTs, Automobili Pininfarina has teamed up with Bovet 1822 to develop the Battista Tourbillon, a stunning timepiece that perfectly complements the car itself.

The timepiece is incredibly detailed and the design is inspired by many of the elements found on the Battista itself. For instance, the Battista's E-Heart can be seen in the timepiece's differential winding mechanism, along with its detailing in Iconica Blue and the implementation of sustainable materials. Bovet has a long history spanning two centuries, but the Battista Tourbillon is its first timepiece to feature asymmetrical dials.
