Meet The Gorgeous Lexus LC 500 Regatta Edition

The Lexus brand isone of our favorites. It doesn't make the fastest or the most advanced cars in every segment, but my word, are they beautiful. TheLC 500is especially pretty and is one of a select few soft-top convertibles that look just as good with the roof up as they do with the roof down. The Lexus badge often gets a bad rep as an old man's brand and that kind of reputation is reinforced by the continued inclusion of features like aCD player. Still, none of this takes away from the visual impact of the LC, and now there's a new edition that is somehow even prettier.

The new variant is called the LC 500 Regatta Edition and is inspired by the "ambience of a luxury marina". An exclusive paint finish called Structural Blue has been applied to the sensual body of the LC 500 convertible, although it was originally developed for the coupe. This new paint in intended to "replicate the depth of tone found in the natural world" and uses micro-particles in the pigment to reflect light in a unique way, changing the appearance of the finish depending on the angle it is viewed from and the light it is viewed in. This is combined with a Marine Blue soft top.
