Lexus LX And GX Custom Offroad Builds Head To SEMA 2023

Based on the outgoing model, the GX 460 Premium has received a vivid Matte Yellow Saffron wrap, along with 18-inch wheels wrapped in 34-inch Toyo Open Country A/T tires.

Already a capable SUV, AAP has equipped the GX 460 with a full skid plate and off-road rock sliders from CBI. Once you've ventured out into nature and it's time to set up camp, the GX 460 has numerous features to make life more comfortable.

That includes a hammock stand with a 10-foot-long Kammok Roo Double Hammock. Open the trunk, and you'll find a 63-quart fridge freezer to store all your meals and snacks. The vehicle also has a portable air compressor, a recovery kit, and recovery boards.

As a reminder, the GX 460 is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine with 301 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque.

It may be brand new, but that hasn't stopped Lexus from upgrading the latest GX, seen here in GX 550 Overtrail + guise.

Seen in the adventurous Earth and Black exterior finish, the styling is accented with black-painted over-fenders, aluminum skid plates, and 18-inch wheels with 33-inch Toyo Open Country A/T tires. AAP has also kitted out the new GX 550 with two-gallon fuel containers, shovels, and recovery boards. This should allow off-road enthusiasts to endeavor without fear of getting stuck in isolated areas.

Other Lexus accessories include rock rails, an on-board tire compressor, and black exterior badging. If the spacious trunk isn't good enough, there's a roof rack, cargo case, and accessory panels that can accommodate additional items. The new GX 550 may have a smaller 3.4-liter V6, but thanks to twin turbocharging, it is even more powerful, putting out a respectable 349 hp and 479 lb-ft.
