The new special edition receives Deep Forest Green paintwork, a Desert Beige interior, and plenty of toys to play with.

Kia America has revealed a special edition of the popularEV6electric crossover, dubbed theNorth American Utility Vehicle of the Year Limited Edition.

As the cumbersome name suggests, this special edition commemorates the EV's victory in the Utility Vehicle of the Year category in the 2023 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) awards.

So what sets this derivative apart from the rest?

For a start, it's limited to just 1,000 units, making it very exclusive. The EV6 also benefits from classy Deep Forest Green paintwork, paired with a Desert Beige interior. As far as color combos go, green over tan is a winner, and it suits the contemporary styling of the EV6 beautifully.

Inside, the EV6 limited edition further distinguishes itself with NACTOY medallions and a silhouette of the EV6 located near the gear selector.

The NACTOY limited edition borrows elements from the GT-Line and Wind trim levels. The latter lends the special edition its blacked-out wheel arch, side, and bumper trimmings, while the former contributes several desirable features.

This includes a sunroof, heated steering wheel and rear seats, stylish 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, and several driver assist systems, including blind-spot monitoring, forward collision assist, and Highway Driving Assist 2.

Power comes courtesy of a 77.4-kWh battery that feeds the dual motors; one fitted on each axle. With combined outputs of 320 horsepower, the EV6 NACTOY limited edition can silently slink to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. Those craving more power must forgo the special paint and head straight for the EV6 GT, whichoffers a supercar-rivaling 576 hp.
