Jeep Needs To Make A Compass Trackhawk

The all-newJeep Compasshas just been revealed with anew interiorandmore tech, and it looks set to be a great return to form for the crossover. It's more luxurious, has more advanced safety features, and just looks fantastic. The only problem is under the hood, where you still get an anemic 2.4-liter Tigershark four-pot developing 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. A manual gearbox won't return for this model, but you do have a choice between six- or nine-speed autos and 4x2 or 4x4. But what if you wanted something a little sportier; something a little more fun to drive? What about a Jeep Compass Trackhawk?

We've rendered our design with a load of Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk-inspired styling elements, including that stunning crimson shade of paint (Redline 2 Coat Pearl, in case you were wondering). Lowered on some bigger sport alloy wheels and enhanced by gloss black accents on the front fascia, badges, light surrounds, and roof rails, our Compass Trackhawk looks mean even from a distance.

Of course, such a vehicle is unlikely to handle the addition of a massive 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 707 horsepower like its bigger brother, but we would still spice things up a little to make our improved suspension, sportier styling changes, and bigger brakes worth the effort.
