Including a stunning 1,000-hp Genesis Coupe.

Hyundai has touched down in Vegas with a quintet of concepts, all heavily modified with oodles of horsepower and extreme styling. Themost powerful of the fiveis the Genesis Coupe developed with Chicago's Blood Type Racing. With 1,000 hp, Hyundai claims it's "the most-powerful 2.0-liter Genesis Coupe ever built," thanks to increased bore, a bigger turbo, remapped ECU, nitrous kit, new exhaust and intakes, and a glut of cooling mods. It also boasts a beefed up chassis, Kei Miura widebody kit and Cusco roll cage.

Next up, the black-and-white Hyundai Bisimoto Engineering Sonata comes with a 708-hp 2.4-liter turbo-four powering the front wheels. The race-spec one-off received an AEM Infinity 6 ECU, Spearco intercooler, Turbonetics turbocharger, and Magnafuel 750 fuel pump. Another performance-oriented creation isArk Performance's AR550 Genesis5.0-liter V8, which has been boosted by 130 hp to deliver 550 horses thanks largely to a Rotrex supercharger. Chassis mods include a front strut reinforcement bar, stiffened sway bars, Brembo big brakes and forged alloys, while cosmetic upgrades include an aerodynamics package by Infinite Auto Design.

The Toca Signature Edition Genesis also receives a significant bump in power, this time a Garrett twin-turbo doing the work, boosting output to 600 hp. Other upgrades include a Rockford Fosgate sound system and carbon-fiber trim. Connecting "Los Angeles street art culture with automotive enthusiasts," The JP Edition Sonata is a project developed with John Pangilinan sporting a wider body kit, 19-inch RAYS alloys, unique LED headlights and MagnaFlow exhaust.
