It's still one of the most capable little runabouts.

The blocky and popularJeep Renegadereturns for 2022 sporting the same standard 1.3-liter turbocharged four and nine-speed automatic as last year. New highlights include a newAltitude Package, a new standard 8.4-inch touchscreen on Sport and Latitude models and a gentle redesign of the body with changes to the grille, fog lamps, mirror caps and rear valence.

新包基本上是一个高度管制trim. It comes with gloss black badges, grille rings, DLR/turn bezels, 18-inch wheels, rear valence, cloth or leather seats and more black accents inside. Those seats get gray accent stitching to round out the package.

The Renegade continues as the smallest Jeep in the lineup, delivering 177 hp and 210 lb-ft from that turbo four. It competes in the compact SUV segment with the Chevy Trax, Ford EcoSport, Nissan Rogue Sport and Honda HR-V. Of those players, the Jeep definitely has the best off-road credentials with several versions of 4x4 offered.

The Renegade has four driving modes for all but the Trailhawk: Auto, Sand, Snow and Mud (Trailhawk includes a mode forrock crawling). It gets a 21:1 crawl ratio, 8.7 inches of ground clearance, 8.1 inches of wheel articulation and can ford water 19 inches deep. All of which is pretty impressive for a vehicle of its size. It can also tow up to 2,000 pounds.

The infotainment has the company's Uconnect 4C naviation with a touchscreen radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD radio and more. The Renegade comes with more than 70 standard features, the most of important of which are Forward Collision Warning Plus and lane departure warning. Four trims continue including Sport, Latitude (a Latitude Attitude might be cool), Limited and thehardest coreTrailhawk. That latter three are 4x4 only. We'll probably get some special editions too.

Colors are the same for 2022 with white, red, gray, blue and a few others. Inside your choices are black on black, black on red or black on gray. Jeep didn't mention pricing, so we'll assume it'll stick to 2021 prices starting at $24,985 for the Sport model and the top Trailhawk model has an MSRP of $29,920.
