Now, the hardware will come standard in the car and customers can activate it later.

This change will impact the 2024 model year for all four of the aforementioned Ford vehicles. The hardware will also come standard on all2024年林肯领航员andLincoln Nautilusmodels and select trims of Lincoln Corsair, which recentlygained BlueCruise as part of a refresh.

When you purchase a new Ford or Lincoln vehicle, BlueCruise functionality can be activated for three years at a cost of $2,100, which can be rolled into the financing. If you're unsure if you will like using it, BlueCruise can be sampled complimentary for 90 days.

After the trial, customers can decide if they want to subscribe to the service monthly ($75 per month) or annually ($800 per year). This provides more flexibility for owners who don't frequently take their car on long road trips. They can subscribe to hands-free driving for one month when they have a vacation or work trip planned, then cancel it the next month without wasting money on an annual subscription.
