With only seven miles on the clock, this '90s Civic is fresh as a daisy.

Honda has astoried history, with the Civic cemented as its breakout product in the US. Among the nameplate's numerous generations, however, the '90s Civics are favorites among fans and tuners. Imagine their delight at seeing this little beauty - a 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback in pristine condition with just seven miles on the ticker.

HondaPro Jason -a YouTuber and avery vocal Honda fan- has interviewed this time capsule's owner, Dylan Sharpe, as they marvel at this unique find. It has a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of 0001, making it the first of its model to arrive in North America.

The video reveals that this model is the Civic Hatchback DX variant, the base model for the Canadian market. It's beyond base, actually, as it lacked particular amenities such as air conditioning and the passenger side mirror, which wasn't uncommon for older cars. It also had small steel wheels.

Why the low mileage? The Civic was a training vehicle for mechanics and engineers to work on their craft. Sharpe remarked on how simple and deliberate the engineering is under its hood, with every bit thoughtfully crafted and easy to work with.

Of note, it was not mentioned how and when Sharpe acquired this car and for how much.

If you're curious, the 1992 Honda Civic boasts a naturally-aspirated 16-valve 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 102 horsepower. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The performance is undoubtedly far from modern Hondas, with the current base modelHonda Civicmaking around 158 hp.

We all know that even old Honda Civicscan command quite a fortune, and this mint example would be no different. Before you start selling all your Bitcoin and signing up for your third mortgage, let's be clear that the car is not for sale - unless it's for the right price because, as the owner says, he will never see this again once it gets sold.
