Chevrolet calls on some Disney magic for its online reveal.

It's been a tough year for carmakers launching new vehicles, with Chevrolet having to endure a two-month-long production shutdown. Chevy appears to have been trying to wait out the pandemic while drip-feeding teasers for its newBolt EUV(Electric Utility Vehicle) and the refreshed 2022 model year Bolt. But the bowtie brand has now announced it will be revealing the new and refreshed vehicles on February 14 before going into production in the summer.

The American automaker is also looking for mass-market appeal and teaming up with Walt Disney World to show "how magic can take place when the imagination is electrified."

So far, we've only seen small glimpses of the Bolt EUV. We saw a silhouette of the taller Bolt variant back in August, followed by a quick look at theinteriorwith a new Power Flow Screen. Then, in December, Chevyteased the headlights, which feature the brand's first-ever combination daytime running lamp and sequential turn indicator.

We also know that the Bolt EUV is the first Chevy model to use GM's Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving technology, previously reserved only for Cadillac models. We're also expecting a maximum real-world range of 277 miles from its batteries.

According to reports, along with the edgier front and rear lights, the refreshedBolt EV's improvements are largely based on customer feedback. The interior should be more comfortable with new seats, feature a new infotainment screen, and improve its current 269-mile range.

Both 2022 model year vehicles are set to be available from dealers in the summer this year, and the reveal is scheduled to unfold on Sunday, February 14. We assume the reveal will be beamed out from the Disney California Adventure Park due to the teaser video and the announced collaboration with Disney.
