2024 Nissan Pathfinder Undercuts Main Rivals With $35,810 Base Price

TheNissan Pathfinderjust received an update for 2024 in the form of newer technology and features, albeit with a $500 price bump over 2023's model.

The entry-level Pathfinder S 2WD that couldpreviously be hadfor $35,320 now starts at $35,810. A 4WD option is also available and starts at $37,710, before the destination and handling at $1,335, which also increased by $40.

Despite the price hike, the 2024 Pathfinder retains last year's features, including Nissan Safety Shield 360 for full on-road protection. Its NissanConnect system boasts an 8-inch touchscreen (upgradable to 9 inches), standard Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, and an optional 10.8-inch head-up display. The Intelligent Around View Monitor provides a 360-degree view with enhanced LED lighting.

The 2024 Pathfinder lineup has five grades: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum. The Platinum trim starts at $48,780 for the 2WD and $50,680 for the 4WD option. It comes equipped with 20-inch wheels, a panoramic moonroof, Bose 13-speaker audio, a head-up display, semi-aniline leather seats with quilting, premium-leather steering wheel, Bronze Metallic Brushed accents, and climate-controlled front seats.

The ProPILOT Assist4 feature that comes standard on Pathfinder SV 2WD (now at $38,630 and $40,530 for 4WD), as well as the Rock Creek 4WD models (starting at $43,630), makes highway driving easier. It supports steering, acceleration, and braking in single-lane highway scenarios. Pathfinder SL and Platinum models enhance this with Navi-link integration, adjusting speed intuitively for curves and freeway exits using navigation data.
