2024 Kia EV9 Three-Row SUV Reservations Open This Month

Kia has announced that reservation requests for the2024 Kia EV9will open this month, allowing potential customers to secure their electric SUV well ahead of time.

Starting October 16, eager buyers can head toKia.comto configure and reserve their EV9 with a fully refundable $750 payment. Customers can reserve the following trims at this stage: Light Long Range AWD, Wind AWD, Land AWD, and GT-Line AWD.

And to make sure you follow through on your purchase, Kia is promising buyers several gifts and incentives. Make a reservation request before November 27, and those who purchase or lease an EV9 are eligible for a complimentary three-year Kia Maintenance Plan, one year of Digital Features & Services, and a credit for 1,000 kWh of charging with Electrify America.

Kia will even throw in a Webasto Go Dual Voltage Portable EV Charger. All in all, it sounds like a rather good deal.

We expect the automaker to announce pricing for the entire range before reservations open. So far, Kia has only released the MSRP ofthe entry-level Light RWD, which comes in at $54,900 (excl. destination). Expect posher models to get close to or exceed the $70,000 mark.

Those interested in the base model won't be short-changed, as it's full of luxury features. The package includes 19-inch wheels, faux leather upholstery, and a power-adjustable driver's seat with heating and ventilation.

Unfortunately, the EV9 doesn't qualify for the appealing $7,500 EV tax credit as it不是名单ed in America. The first units will be sourced from South Korea, but Kia fully intends tobuild the EV9 locallyat a later stage. This will make the three-row SUV even more competitive, even though it's technically in a class of its own.
