2020 Volkswagen Atlas V6 S Specs

Despite a higher cost and standard all-wheel-drive, the V6 S is still considered a lower-level Atlas. That means it gets 18-inch alloy wheels and the basic 6.5-inch infotainment suite, along with cloth upholstery. But under the hood it trades turbochargers for displacement, generating 276 hp from a 3.6-liter VR6 and sending it exclusively to a 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. This sees the Atlas V6 S lose out on gas mileage at just 19 mpg combined, but it allows for the fitment of a tow hitch, which grants the midsize SUV a towing capacity of up to 5,000 lbs.
