The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GLE coupe can be had in either GLE43 3.0-liter twin-turbo (385 hp, 384 lb-ft) or GLE63 S 5.5-liter twin-turbo (577hp, 561 lb-ft) variants. Both feature all-wheel drive and either a 9-speed automatic (GLE43) or 7-speed automatic (GLE63 S) transmissions. Handling and performance levels are up there with the best luxury SUVs although rear seating is very compromised. Notable standard features are heated and ventilated power seats, adaptive braking and temperature controlled front cupholders. While available options include active LED headlamps, massaging front seats and an active curve system.
