除非你真正y need all-wheel drive, the IS 300 AWD is a difficult purchase to justify. Aside from the V6 powertrain, it doesn’t bring much else to the party. Yes, it’s quicker to 60 mph and has slightly more horsepower - but it’s down on torque compared to the turbocharged 300 and, importantly, has poorer gas mileage. What’s more, due to its driven wheel setup, the IS 300 AWD has to make do with an old-fashioned six-speed automatic transmission. Certainly, traditionalists will be tempted by the V6 with its smoother power delivery and lovelier exhaust note, but the four-pot makes more sense with gas prices on the rise. Then again, if you live in a climate that dictates all-wheel-drive, it’s the cheapest all-paw in the range.
