The second-generation Hyundai Veloster is a more capable car, and with numerous chassis updates, it is also more fun to drive. The base model lacks the urgency of the Turbo models, but you still get most of the good stuff. Powering the base model is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 147 hp and 132 lb-ft. The exterior features 17-inch alloy wheels, projector headlights, and power-adjustable side-view mirrors. On the inside, you get a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, manual air conditioning, and a seven-inch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Lane keep assist, forward collision warning and driver attention warning are standard.
