The SE represents a lot of car at an agreeable price. If your only concerns are space and safety, this is the one to look out for. The 2.5-liter NA engine doesn’t deliver spirited performance, but it should feel adequate to the average person. You do lose out on the fancier alloy wheels, but the 18-inch wheels provide a more comfortable ride. On the inside, you get manual air-conditioning, but Hyundai includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, though the infotainment screen measures only eight inches. The safety specification consists of forward-collision avoidance, lane-keep assist, lane-following assist, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, and driver-attention warning.
