The Fusion Hybrid SE is our recommendation for value-for-money purchase in this range; it priced favorably low, for the eco-friendly family on a budget, and yet comes comprehensively outfitted with all the essentials a family sedan should have. It also comes standard with Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment software, which includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality. Though the eight-inch LCD infotainment touchscreen is a nice touch too, the stock nine-speaker audio layout is rather low-end, unfortunately. Sound quality doesn’t get much better, even with the Sony system in the Titanium. Some other standard features with the SE include a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, a compass, and active noise control.
