At the top of the Expedition Max range, the Platinum gets revised engine outputs of 400 hp and 480 lb-ft, but it’s also equipped with a continuously controlled damping system for improved comfort on the road, augmented by the multi-contour seats with massage functionality. The Platinum comes standard with all-LED exterior lighting, a satin-aluminum accented grille, mirror caps, and roof-rack side-rails that also feature crossbars. It features power-deployable body-color running boards with polished stainless accents and is the only model fitted with front door scuff plates with brushed aluminum inserts. It gets a comprehensive consignment of driver-assist features too, comprising a rearview backup camera with backup assist grid lines, a reverse sensing system, a forward sensing system and blind spot information system, an enhanced active park assist system, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, active lane-keep assist, pre-collision assist, and a 360 degree camera.
