The M340i substitutes the four-cylinder turbo engine for the more powerful 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, which drops the 0-60 time to well under five seconds. It looks more aggressive thanks to an aerodynamic kit, unique 18-inch alloy wheels, larger exhaust outlets, and Shadowline exterior trim. Not much is different inside, although the M340i does have larger screens for the infotainment and digital instrument cluster displays, along with a classy SensaTec-trimmed dashboard. Further features encompass dynamic cruise control, navigation, tire-pressure monitoring, and power-folding mirrors.
