The two-seater sports car is itching to debut sometime towards the end of the year.

It is an open secret that Aston Martin will release a facelifted Vantage. Followingspy photos of the Vantage Roadsterand Vantage Coupe we captured last month, the updated two-seater sports car has been caught being tested at the Nurburgring wearing the same green camouflage.

In the video below, we get to hear the Vantage's V8 growling around Green Hell. The refreshed iteration is still expected to retain the 4.0-liter M177 twin-turbocharged M177 V8 engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG.

Currently, the performance figures are 503 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque. Fans of the V12 have to come to terms with the fact the Vantage won't get the in-house 5.2-liter AE31 twin-turbocharged V12 mill anymore as the British luxury automaker already rolled out thefinal Vantage V12版,delivers 690 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque.

Looking at the Nurburgring test runs, the 2024Aston Martin Vantagehas a familiar look, albeit with a few design tweaks. The sharp horizontal headlights have been discarded in favor of a rounder finish, reminiscent of the ones in theDBXor even the Valhalla. Moreover, the prototype arrived with a taller and revamped grille that doesn't span the length of the front end.

At the back, the changes were hardly seen, if there were any. It would be great to have themassive wing similar to the Vantage F1 Editionbe offered as an option, though.

But remember, this is still the prototype so we could see more styling tweaks in the coming months. Meanwhile, the cabin was hidden, suggesting AM might've incorporated interior changes.

The Aston Martin Vantage can be seen zooming past traffic at the Ring, including a Volkswagen Golf R and Porsche Panamera. But perhaps the most noteworthy car was aHyundai Ioniq 5 N, the upcoming high-performance version of the Korean automaker's retro-styled electric vehicle (EV).

Aston Martin is expected to launch the new Vantage V8 towards the end of the year or early 2024.
