This 1,006-HP Posaidon E-Class Might Make Bugatti Owners Jealous

The Mercedes E-Classis an impressive car, but we don't think that anyone would ever compare it to something like the Bugatti Veyron or Lamborghini Aventador. However, once you see the new Posaidon-tuned E-Class, you will begin to see why those comparisons, made here, areactually justified. Posaidon has increased the E63's horsepower from 557 to 1,006. With AWD, this E-Class can hit 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and tops out at 218 mph. The power gains come from upgrades to the turbochargers and intercoolers as well as other components.

Posaidon didn't just double the horsepower. The company also added competition-spec spark plugs, a newly calibrated limited-slip differential on each axle, larger brakes, stiffer suspension, and wider tires. To lower the weight, the interior trim along with the rear seats were removed. There is also a nice dosage of carbon fiber on the hood, mirrors, spoiler, and diffuser. This is definitely the most insane E-Class that we have seen.
