As you'd expect, there are a number of options available. 12 paint finishes are on offer, including two SL-exclusive colors: Hyper Blue Metallic and Manufaktur Monza Grey Magno, a matte finish. Three roof color options are available too, along with five exterior design packages: AMG Aerodynamics Package, AMG Carbon Package, AMG Chrome Package, AMG Night Package, and AMG Night Package II. Nine wheel variants are on offer, with SL 55 models getting 19-inch AMG multispoke wheels as standard and the SL 63 riding on 20-inch rims. 21-inch options are among those offered, including one with forged construction. So what does it cost to get one of these new convertibles?

Pricing for the 2022Mercedes-AMG SLhas only been revealed for the European market at this time, but US pricing is sure to be revealed soon enough. In the meantime, the SL 55 starts at a base MSRP of €158,240.25 (approximately $174,156) while the more powerful SL 63 variant carries a base asking price of €187,097.75 ($205,916). If those numbers seem way out of reach, don't give up hope just yet. The rumor mill suggests that Mercedes will soon beadding a four-cylinder turbo-hybrid model to the lineup, and this will come at a considerably lower price point than its upmarket V8 siblings. The US-spec cars may differ slightly, but when you're buying a car in 911 Turbo territory, you're going to pay for it.
