The Best Way To Test Toughness Of The 2015 BMW X6 Is By Driving It On A Live Volcano

Just, you know, not into it.

This isn't quite on the same scale as Top Gear's volcano expedition in Iceland, but British GQ recently decided to test out the 2015 BMW X6 by driving on Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano. The volcano, located in Italy, isn't constantly spewing lava or anything, but there is very regular tectonic activity, and most importantly, the terrain is pretty rough. The test was specifically on the xDrive30d, which produces a very nice 413 lb-ft of torque.

That's the sort of thing you want on a volcano, or really any rough terrain, especially with a vehicle so heavy. But the BMW X6 performs admirably.
