Teased: New Honda Civic Will Debut On Twitch Next Week

The reveal of the new Civic prototype will be a world-first, as this will be the first time that a live global debut of a vehicle occurs on a Twitch branded gaming channel.Honda Head2Headis the channel in question and the special episode will start at 17:00 Pacific Time with the actual reveal expected to begin at 18:45. The episode will also feature a performance by Grammy-nominated artist Cordae. But what about the car itself? Well, it seems that therender we saw last monthwas fairly accurate, which means that we'll no longer have any gripes with the way the Civic looks.

The stills we've captured from the above video allow us to examine some of the car's details a little more closely. We see a wheel design very similar to that of thelightweight BBS wheelsR型限量版,s well as a molded trunk spoiler, dual exhaust exits on either side of a faux diffuser, LED running lights at either end of the car, and a new glasshouse with a flourish in the C-pillars that will likely become a styling accent on future Honda models too. We'll have to wait for the full reveal to judge the styling properly, but things are looking promising for America's best-selling car.
