Someone Paid $2 Million For This 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible

This one-of-a-kind 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible wassold at the annual Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auctionin Arizona earlier this year, raising $2 million for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Bob Woodruff Foundation charities. Now, the winning 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible has been delivered to its new owner Kent Stevinson, Dealer Principal of Stevinson Lexus of Lakewood in Colorado. Stevinson is the first person to receive delivery of the new Lexus LC 500 Convertible in the US.

"To actually see the car eight months later from seeing the prototype at Barrett-Jackson, it was quite the presentation and it hits you that this is vehicle number one," said Stevinson. " The experience was also unique for Stevinson in that he was able to see the vehicleevolve from conceptto final production first-hand.

"When I was on the Lexus Dealer Council I saw the prototype of the convertible, so just knowing you are taking delivery on the first one is really something."

Based on the limited Inspiration Series, theunique Lexus LC 500 Convertiblefeatures a striking Structural Blue exterior with a white semi-aniline leather-trimmed interior, along with unique blue brake calipers and Liquid Platinum accents. Stevinson also received framed sketch of the LC 500 Convertible by the Chief Designer Tadao Mori, an engine cover signed by Lexus President Koji Sato and Chief Engineer Yasushi Muto, a portfolio with production-line photos and a certificate signed by the President of Lexus, the Chief Engineer and the General Manager of the Motomachi plant, where the car was built.
