Rolls-Royce Cullinan Yachting Edition Is The Rolex Of SUVs

The hand-brushed body is especially unique.

Carlex Design knows a thing or two about how to improve the interiors of eventhe world's most exotic cars. Ittransformed the cabin of the Ferrari SF90recently and the tuner also had its way with a Porsche Macan a few years ago. But Ferrari and Porsche are renowned for their performance qualities above all else, whereas the subject of Carlex's latest creation, Rolls-Royce, is known for crafting the世界上最好的汽车内饰. That hasn't stopped Carlex from creating the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Yachting Edition. While Carlex often limits its handiwork to interiors, this particular Cullinan received a complete makeover both inside and out. This is not the first Yachting Edition from the company; a Land Rover Defender withsimilar trim and coloringwas revealed previously.

TheRolls-Royce CullinanYachting Edition has been given a two-tone exterior finish with the lower body painted in silver, but it's the hand-brushed finish that gives this SUV an entirely different presence. The upper body is painted in black. Meanwhile, the standard wheels have been replaced by 22-inch custom alloys. The Cullinan has never been pretty and neither is this Yachting Edition, but it is nothing if not impactful to look at.

Carlex went even further with the interior. Described as "fresh, light, and marine", the Yachting Edition has completely reshaped seats finished in an off-white perforated leather upholstery.

The main upholstery color is contrasted by brown on the lower doors, center console, and seatbacks. Alcantara finishes have been applied to the headlining and pillars, but leather covers the dashboard, central console, armrests, and door panels.

Sticking with the yachting theme are the floors which have varnished wood panels, a far cry from the lambswool carpets one would usually find in the Cullinan. Carlex branding appears on the dashboard and seats, but the prestigious Rolls-Royce emblem remains in the center of the steering wheel.

The price of the Cullinan Yachting Edition is only available upon request, which is the most polite way of saying that most of us won't be able to afford it.
