Leaked photos give us a first look inside the hardcore Ram Rebel TRX.

We've known for some time now that Ram is preparing to unleash thehardcore Rebel TRXtruck to fight theFord F-150 Raptor. FCA first teased its Hellcat-powered off-roader back in 2016 with the Ram Rebel TRX Concept. Four years later, the production version is expected to break cover, possibly asearly as next monthsince it was originally going to be shown at the 2020 Detroit Auto Show in June before the event was canceled.

一个head of its debut, The Fast Lane Truck has obtained some new spy photos of the Ram Rebel TRX, revealing a cheeky easter egg that pokes fun at its chief rival, the Ford F-150 Raptor.

One photo gives us a clear look at the truck's center console that features a rubber mat depicting a scale diagram showing a size comparison between a man, a profile view of the TRX pickup, and a T-Rex towering over a puny velociraptor, implying that the Rebel TRX will crush the F-150 Raptor.

It's a fun little easter egg, but it's not unwarranted either. With its supercharged Hellcat V8 engine producing at least 707 horsepower, the Ram Rebel TRX should comfortably outperform the F-150 Raptor, which has a twin-turbo V6 with 450 horsepower. A rotary dial can also be seen at the bottom of the center dashboard for "Trailer Steering," which could be similar to Ford's Pro Trailer Backup Assist where a knob can be used to help backup the trailer instead of the steering wheel.

This feature is expected to be introduced to other Ram trucks. Other interior details include leather seats with red TRX stitching and a transmission shifter instead of a rotary dial.

We also get a look under the hood of the hardcore truck where the Hellcat V8 engine is paired with a supercharger and a massive air intake. Photos of camouflaged prototype shared by the publication suggest the Ram Rebel TRX will have a huge hood scoop. This is going to be a very aggressive-looking truck and we can't wait for the covers to come off Ram's answer to the Ford F-150 Raptor. After its expected reveal in June, the Ram Rebel TRX will reportedly start production this October.
