Novitec Makes The McLaren 765LT Even More Extreme

TheMcLaren 765LTis an insane track-focused missile. We've already seen the standard carset a new quarter-mile recordfor a production car andmake the 720S look comparatively slow. But that doesn't mean there isn't still room for improvement.

Afterenhancing the Ferrari F8 Tributo, Novitec has worked its tuning magic on the mighty McLaren 765LT, improving the performance and spicing up the styling to make it even more extreme, which is no small feat. In standard spec, the McLaren 765LT's 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces 755 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, which is more than enough power for most people to handle.

For those who want to take it to the next level, Novitec's plug and play N-Tronic auxiliary control unit increases the output to 855 hp at 7,400 rpm and 662 lb-ft of peak torque at 6,300 rpm in the most powerful Performance Stage two kit. Combined with a lightweight high-performance exhaust system, ceramic-coated tailpipes, and a curb weight of less than 2,976 pounds, the modified McLaren 765LT will accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds, an improvement of 0.2 seconds, and reach 124 mph from a standstill in 6.5 seconds. Top speed remains unchanged at 205 mph, but that isn't slow by any means.

To complement the performance upgrades, the modified McLaren 765LT rides on sportier Vossen shoes with seven double spokes and stylized center locks.
