Leaked /8 Comments

This new Aston Martin Valkyrie variant looks like a Le Mans racer.

It's been a very long wait, but theAston Martin Valkyrie几乎准备好了。交付为阿斯顿马rtin's extreme street-legal hypercar are scheduled tostart in the middle of this year. Aston Martin is also preparing to unleash a track-only version called theValkyrie AMR Pro, which will be limited to just 25 examples. Now, images have leaked online showing a new unannounced Valkyrie variant with even more extreme aero than the AMR Pro.

The revealing render image was discovered on a section of Aston Martin's website that was clearly not supposed to be public judging by the "Customer Confidential" heading.

Aston Martin has since taken the page down, but it didn't take long for someone to take a screenshot and send it to Jalopnik. Allegedly, Aston Martin is planning to reveal this mysterious new Valkyrie later this year. There's no model name listed, so it isn't clear if we're looking at an updated version of the AMR Pro or a new variant. The most obvious difference that sets it apart from the Valkyrie and AMR Pro is the giant rear wing, which is noticeably larger than the AMR Pro's.

There's also a Le Mans-style shark fin that will help steady the air at speed. Other aggressive aero enhancements include revised front and rear fenders, a more prominent front splitter, and aero wheels.

Whatever Aston Martin is planning for this new Valkyrie, it won't be road legal and production will be very limited. If we had to guess, this is probably the final version of the Valkyrie AMR Pro since Aston Martin's track weapon has only been officially shown as a concept. Now that we've seen what the hypercar looks like in a racing suit, we can't help but wish Aston Martin was stillentering the Valkyrie in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

No performance specifications were revealed, but the regular Valkyrie is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 with 1,000 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque, while a hybrid system designed by Rimac will boost the output to 1,160 hp at 10,500 rpm and 663 lb-ft of torque.
