Minor Tweaks Coming to BMW Z4

BMW is readying the facelifted Z4 Roadster for release next year.

The Z4 has only been on the market now since 2009, but BMW is already preparing a minor update for the roadster. At least, that's what it appears from this latest batch of spy shots. The hard-top convertible seen here is only wearing a small amount of camouflage, but its location tells us where the German automaker is focusing its attention. Those updates appear to center around the headlights, tail-lights and side vents, with the rest apparently carrying over unchanged.

We're expecting the "angel eyes" that characterize the design of the latest 3 Series could be carrying over to the refreshed Z4, and some technological improvements may find their way into the cabin and engine bay, but otherwise don't expect much to change when the revised Z4 hits the streets for the 2013 model year.
