The EQE SUV will get its official reveal sometime later at the Guangzhou Motor Show in November. Where energy is concerned, the EQS SUV is expected to boast a generous battery capacity of 108 kWh which will be combined with a dual-motor system. In the 580 4Matic, this is set to produce 516 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. The Maybach EQS 600 4Matic will offer nominally more than this.

On the other end of the spectrum sits base EQE 350 SUV which will source power from a 90.6 kWh battery. Power will be sent to the rear wheels but a 4Matic option will be available to those wanting a bit more capability. Expect this model to deliver 288 hp and 391 lb-ft.

Catering to a more efficient daily usability experience, Mercedes-Benz will kit both cars, together with the rest of its EQ range, out with 800V charging capabilities. The SUV duo's electrical architecture will operate at 400V. The insiders confirm that both these products will be assembled alongside the GLE and GLS at the company's Tuscaloosa, Alabama production plant.

The EQE and EQS SUVs are set to join the EQA, EQB, and EQC electric crossovers in a bid to create a formidable high-riding electric offering that caters to a diverse set of customers. They will be followed by the off-road-focusedquad-motor EQGsometime in 2024.
