米eet The 1,600-HP Mercedes-AMG That Handles Like A Boat

米ercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing have been working together since 2007,creating high-performance boatsthat take advantage of their combined racing knowledge. "For twelve years we have been exploring the limits of performance on land and at sea with Cigarette Racing. Inspired by the incredible new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4- door Coupe, the 41' AMG Carbon Edition impresses with its extremely high performance and its expressive design," said Tobias Moers, Chairman of Mercedes- AMG GmbH.

Powered by four Mercury Racing 400R outboard engines, the 41' AMG Carbon Edition produces 1,600 horsepower and is capable of an impressive 83 mph top speed.

Taking its design cues from the new米ercedes-AMG GT 634-door coupe, which is powered by a 577 hp 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine (the AMG GT 63 S pushes that figure up to 630 hp), this 41-foot long racing boat makes extensive use of carbon fiber in its construction. This helps to dramatically lower its weight and its center of gravity, both aiding handling during high-speed maneuvers.

It may be a race-honed machine but the '41 Carbon Edition can still carry up to 20 passengers in luxurious comfort, the interior mimicking that of the land-based AMG GT 63. It is similarly equipped with the latest tech in its class like "Cigarette Cool" upholstery which is able to reflect up to 30 percent of absorbed heat and three 17-inch full HD Garmin touchscreens.
