Lexus RC Looks Great Even as a Convertible

Now that Lexus has officially stopped building bland cars that often appeal to Florida retirees, younger people won't feel so ashamed to be seen driving one, let alone owning one. Perhaps the best example of this newfound cool factor is the RC coupe, which was unveiled earlier this week. That sleek coupe will no doubt pose a serious threat to the likes of the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5. Thing is, those latter two are also offered as convertibles.

If Lexus is serious about being a player in the premium performance convertible segment, then it'll need to chop the top off the RC real soon. Rendering artist Theophilus Chin has just released his take on what the RC could look like sans the top. It looks solid, but the question is whether Lexus will go with a fabric roof or folding hard top. Let us know in the comments what you'd prefer to see.
