Koenigsegg Jesko Build Slot Selling For Insane Money

And you won't be able to drive it for another year.

TheKoenigsegg Jesko is one of the most exciting new hypercars on the block. Unveiled earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show as the Agera RS' successor, the Jesko is Koenigsegg's most extreme road-going hypercar yet. Power is provided by a twin-turbo V8 that produces 1,280 hp on regular gasoline and 1,600 hp on E85 fuel. That makes it the most powerful Koenigsegg internal combustion engine ever made and the most powerful internal combustion engine ever fitted to a homologated production car.

All those horses are sent through a new nine-speed multi-clutch transmission built in-house, and thanks to its aggressive aerodynamic work and phenomenal power, the Jesko is slated to be the first road car capable of breaking the 300-mph barrier.

It'll be a rare car, of course, with production limited to just 125 examples. And just two weeks after the hypercar's world debut, the Swedish automaker confirmed thatevery example had already been sold. Unfortunately, one of those wealthy clients clearly intended to flip their Jesko for a profit, because German dealer "Mulsano" is selling a Jesko build slot for an eye-watering €3,986,500 ($4,468,530), including tax. The Jesko's price tag was never officially confirmed by Koenigsegg, but rumors suggest the 1,600-hp hypercar will have set you back at least $3 million.

The vendor claims the Jesko will be delivered 12 months after it's ordered, so there should still be time for interested buyers to choose their own color options and specifications. Koenigsegg probably won't be happy seeing someone trying to flip the Jesko for a profit, so don't be surprised if the listing gets removed. Koenigsegg did, however, allocate a small number of Jeskos to dealers looking to secure build slots for potential clients who couldn't attend the Geneva show, but it isn't clear if this was one of them.
